Seen live as the opening act for the Cure, a decade ago. Yes, it's quite singular that a cult band like the Cranes opens for others, even if they are giants. They haven't lost their edge and still manage, with great delicacy, to sweep you away into that fantastic whirlwind of emotions that only they can unleash. For the record, I attended that live show more for them than for my beloved Cure, whom I’ve seen four times already.
