Music to my ears... I just stumbled upon this monologue, and I couldn't help but think that this story represents me in some way, at least when it comes to landing on this messed-up planet (thanks to a few billionaires who always get off scot-free!). Aside from the fact that, fortunately, I don't tremble continuously like she does (only occasionally when I’m too excited or faced with situations where violence reigns supreme), my parents did everything they could to ensure I didn't rest on my laurels and pushed me to work hard like everyone else, despite my motor difficulties. I thank Mother Nature for sparing me at least some of the brain damage, leaving me with a good number of neurons (which are gradually thinning out due to various drugs taken in the past and naturally, since they don’t regenerate like other cells, at least that’s what researchers claim, and who am I to question their in-depth studies?) that have allowed me to overcome many obstacles that we all face in one way or another, and to take it all with a certain philosophy, often laughing heartily at myself and at society in general, even though there are plenty of opportunities to shed a few tears, but those belong to other stories...
Okay, after this sort of "outing," I want to wish all the friends of the paradise that is DeBaser "Happy Holidays & Happy New Year," and as my friend from Seattle, yale James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix used to say, "Stay hungry..." and that’s it!
