Led Zeppelin bron-y-aur-stomp album version Minor key?! Little known?! I love this piece as much as their "classics"! The bucolic sound continues with an even more carefree tone... not certainly the rhythm; a rousing and engaging skiffle. Bonzo, wonderful, entertained and entertaining, also plays with castanets and spoons – the bass drum, however, is powerful; as soon as the piece starts, it really kicks in – while Jonesy plays the double bass. The initial part picks up the version of the traditional The Wagoner’s by Bert Jansch, one of Pagey's acoustic idols. The title refers to Bron-Yr-Aur, the cottage in Snowdonia without water and electricity where Page and Plant isolated themselves and conceived Led Zeppelin III... but when now?! Other times, other stuff... The lyrics, on the other hand, are a tribute to Strider, Plant's beloved dog... a not accidental name in relation to the blonde Viking's passion for Tolkien and The Lord of the Rings... (3)
