Led Zeppelin - Coda - Wearing and Tearing Debaserian wreckers... this track tells us what the album after ITTOD would have sounded like... a bomb! “We made that song with the intention of saying: okay, we're going to be old dinosaurs and boring farts... here, take a bit of this! (Rabble, I add!). The track was supposed to be released as a single simultaneously with the Knebworth concerts... it would have been the answer to punk... “let's see who's more badass, aggressive, and powerful (mob, I add)”... Everything got postponed; it was supposed to be part of the setlist for the already scheduled autumn 1980 tour... but on September 25, John left us all. Live, it would have swept their audience away, that's for sure... (12)
