Kashmir - Led Zeppelin Good day, you pain in the ass and splendid maidens... An epic mystical journey between East and West born from a 1973 demo by Page and Bonham, perfectly married to Plant's storytelling upon returning from a trip to Morocco. Page recalls how he was encouraged by the delightful conversations he had with Burroughs to expand his knowledge of music and Arab cultures; something he did in subsequent travels with Plant. Page and Bonham paint something imposing... slow and majestic at the same time... Jones adds a sumptuous string arrangement... and then so much more...
The result is this little gem here... that may not be like the Fausts, but it seems, I say seems, to have made its damn and noble name over time. (27)
