Last night, Daniel Johnston wanted to leave me a little gift. The YouTube algorithm also played its part by "suggesting" this track after one of Johnston's songs, leading to a journey (not a long one, but quite intense) into this "Skinshape" project. We find ourselves between Wood and Mild High Club, amid psychedelia and soul, between the 70s and the melancholy of the 90s. We're not in any new place, but it's nice to be here.
