Spirogyra - Island
we are in 1971. title among my favorites in the acid folk realm, folk as a dark fairy tale, the songs have an air of mystery. A name that comes to mind with similar atmospheres is Comus, without their "tribalism" and honestly of a lower quality. In some tracks, the style, almost a sinister spoken word, brings to mind the idea of folk that spins in the mind of David Tibet; fortunately, siren Barbara Gaskin illuminates the work with her singing, otherwise less inspired.
