An octave for two.
In other words, if pop music (rock?) were a matter of technique, these two would be at the bottom of the list. Baglioni - just to say - would outshine them even at 70. Both of them. And Al Bano? Come on! If it were a matter of technique. It's like saying you love a woman based on her measurements.
So, if hearing this stuff doesn't remind you of a girl who sang it in '77, and you don't remember how much you loved her, even now, then there's no point in me telling you. Think of someone who plays the guitar well. Someone who has something beyond an octave (oh, even Simona Molinari - just to say - but come on...)
