What Light There Is Tells Us Nothing [For Robert Wyatt] As in many of his works, Janek Schaefer uses colors drawn from palettes used by other artists. In this long piece, a cornerstone of his latest work, he employs the colors that the good Robert Wyatt used to paint his "Cockooland". The final result is a dreamy fresco that treads the line of memory. This piece was commissioned by the University of Canterbury, but throughout the work, there is a lightly suspended natural atmosphere. Another work that has made my 2018 a little lighter.
