Frank Zappa & Howard Stern - Louie Louie short on nights and money since the pub owners didn’t want long-haired guys, Zappa managed to get a gig by convincing a pub owner by asking him which song he thought the audience would like... the owner said Louie Louie... and he replied... perfect, but we’ll call it plastic people... and crafted an EXTREMELY LONG piece. OVER HALF AN HOUR... in which the two songs merged... it was a success.
