Every now and then (lately very often..) I have a strong desire for "normalization" in my musical tastes. I had snubbed it, despite the hype and excellent reviews of his previous album, and I almost "disdained" it (even here on deb), then I heard this song... Today I heard on YT that he is obsessed with the Beach Boys, first album bought Per Sounds... from there I understood where much of the beautiful harmonic progression of this song comes from, and many others, and especially the emotions that this song conveys to me despite not being from the right generation.
