This was my first piece by Mogwai, I was struck by the dreamlike sound that suddenly, like an electric tsunami, spilled over, seemed to lose control but then receded, waiting for the next shock. Like all first times, it remained etched in my memory, the only one I remember being "Teen Rapid"; even though it’s a collection of singles before the debut album, it’s the Mogwai record I appreciated the most.
