This is a sad story, especially for vinyl collectors who buy on Discogs. I wanted to write a review about this album by Nocturnal Emissions. I had even bought it. But after paying, the German guy disappeared into thin air and I haven't heard from him in days. Now, I just can't believe that a niche album collector with 100% feedback has stolen €20 from me and is laughing about it; as if I had bought an iPhoneX for €100 on one of those scam sites. No, the idea of being scammed by a German over a Nocturnal Emissions album could drive me mad. I'd rather think that something has happened to him. Something wonderful. Perhaps his hypothetical ex-girlfriend from Oman, right after our exchange, sent him an email saying that there was still some hope after all. And he packed his bags, took the first flight to Muscat, and now he's there enjoying his rekindled love and the beauty of... what the hell is beautiful in Muscat? Surely he isn't thinking about my album that I ordered and paid for 15 days ago. Or maybe, simply, while he was humming a hit by the Residents in the shower, he slipped, died, and right now has become an integral part of a choir of experimental angels. Personally, I count three hypothetical misfortunes (one who is currently in Oman, one who has returned to the black earth, and me, who doesn't know if I'll ever get my Nocturnal Emissions record).
