The notoriety of Seikima II in Japan is quite high; they are considered a legendary heavy metal band in their country. The group has sold over 10 million copies just in Japan. In 1991, they began performing their first concerts abroad in neighboring Asian countries and in Europe, particularly in England and Spain. The group disbanded on December 31, 1999; however, in the 2000s, the band had several limited reunions.
