The Garden by John Foxx Foxx is an intriguing name, but if he had been called John Vision, how would it have been? This album shows how it wasn’t a reality solely dependent on synths. Here, there is pathos, naturalism, stream of consciousness. (If we think of piano pieces signed with Ultravox, such as "My Sex" and "Just For A Moment," we are not surprised by "Europe After The Rain." In fact, no, it’s always a wonder, the John!) That "We fade away" I imagine as a call within the savanna.
