Led Zeppelin - Communication Breakdown (Live 1970) It seems that Johnny Ramone went crazy for this riff. If it weren't for the overly rock blues vocals, it would be a perfect piece ahead of its time for punk. Featured on their first LP, recorded on 26/9/68 when they still didn't have a name or a record label. Pago Page personally financed it, and in 30 hours, everything was recorded. The band had practically been formed for a month, and it makes me laugh when people say there are too many covers... because in a month, how many new songs can you come up with?! And then call them covers; they were insane transformations that only the Zep could pull off. In fact, the originals will be forgotten. Av salut!
