Debut album from this very young band made in the UK, released last June on Exag' Records. An album of psychedelic music that, rather than relying on acid sounds, offers Slowdive-like suggestions and evocative atmospheres. The sounds could be likened to those of other established bands from the neo-psychedelic movement such as Stevenson Ranch Davidians or Quarter After, and Asteroid #4. The album title, 'Gorilla', might be misleading and suggest some aggressive sounds and clattering noise. Nothing of the sort: after all, even these big creatures have a heart and feelings.
