Knots - Gentle Giant (1972) Beyond the brilliant vocal trick, the break that starts at 1:40 is something sublime (both instrumentally and vocally). A special mention goes to the burst of moog and other wonders that follow (those unmissable sound boxes, sisters to the various "The boys in the band," another masterpiece from "Octopus," and "Theme One" by VDGG). There's not much to say; this album, along with the first one, are the best by Gentle. (A track of the value of "The advent of panurge" is a rare thing.)
