10 Magnificent Losers. 10 stories that should be told. 2) Scott McKenzie Scott McKenzie - San Francisco ((HD-1080p/HQ)) 1967 When Philip Wallach Blondheim was taken away by the effects of a long and devastating nerve disease (Guillain-Barré syndrome), all he had with him was his cat Spider. And even Spider no longer remembered Scott McKenzie. Yet Scott was meant to be another Bob Dylan. His "San Francisco" was sung everywhere, and young Czechoslovakians made it an anthem of their "spring" there in Prague. And success didn't come by chance; Scott had paid his dues with his friend John Philips. But when John found his way with the Mamas and Papas, Scott didn’t follow him: he had to be another Dylan... So John gifted him "San Francisco," his only hit. But "The Voice Of Scott McKenzie" and "Stained Glass Morning" are worth a listen.
