Queen Of The Highway "Jim Morrison & the Doors on the road" (48) "I hope it can last a little longer" ... is the last line from Jim in the most intimate song dedicated to Pamela (or rather to both of them, as a couple). She is a princess, he is a monster dressed in leather. But they are just a boy and a girl from America. Husband and wife, Jim says (in reality, the two were never officially married). In the will from February '69 (because why would someone like Morrison write a will at 25... who knows) Jim named Pam as the universal heir. The desire to have children that the singer evokes shows just how, despite the turbulence, the couple was in tune. A tremendous love, above every obstacle. Unfortunately, Paris turned out to be fatal, and it was supposed to be their life. I love this song.
