"Jim Morrison & the Doors on the road" (45)
The ship seems to be the world and the fools are human beings. "Progress" takes us to the moon but ruins the earth and the environment, making the air unbreathable. "Morrison Hotel" arrived in stores on April 22, 1970, the very day the first "Earth Day" was declared. It's not the first time Jim shows his environmental feelings. In my opinion, musically, one of the weakest songs in the entire discography.
