Lively and fast, the piece was very much liked by Morrison, who wanted it as a single ahead of the album (it was, however, "only" the B-side of "Tell all the People"). At that moment, there was so much curiosity about the strings and brass that the "other" tracks were culpably overlooked. Time will do justice. The sound and the vocals evoke the period when the band enjoyed playing covers of old blues. Jim's lyrics seem reassuring: just take off the masks imposed on us and everything will be fine...
