Gianluca Grignani is our cursed poet: poet enough to create the "summa of being verb" in a few stanzas of songs included in an album titled -Destinazione Paradiso- where he speaks of souls, death, and suicide as only a poet can; naturally cursed, because freedom has laws that consume, and sooner or later, "the pieces of life remain defenseless against the wear and tear of the world." Some may compare him to Jim Morrison, but Grignani is too Milanese-Mediterranean to completely destroy himself, in the company of the bitter laughter that absorbs the laughter of those who believe themselves above everything and everyone. Grignani has the eye of the -Falco a metà- that in the lands of this country made of saints, poets, and artists takes him beyond the walls and makes him soar high, despite it all.
