I have never believed in certain malevolent and unfortunate aspects that are said to characterize leap years as a source of trouble and misfortunes, but how terrible this 2016 is, with such a long sequence of deaths and tragedies.
This year has already repeated itself several times, especially for those who are not so young anymore; losing a free and gentle soul, even if rebellious, distant and solitary, like Leonard Cohen’s, feels like losing part of one’s roots. Even though his beautiful songs will remain, yesterday, another great one who accompanied us for many years left us quietly, just as he was accustomed to.
