Santana IV, released this spring, I like. I find connections with the previous 3 Santanas. However, during the recent Italian tour, I had not-so-good echoes, especially because, despite the announcements and line-up changes, it remained too anchored to the sound of the last 20 years. Too, too soft, smooth, watered down.
