György Ligeti - Hungarian Rock The Ligeti you wouldn't expect. The influences of Emerson and Bartók are clear (even if, in truth, one implies the other). Odd time signatures (it seems like a 2+2+3+2 to me, but I fear I might be way off) and crazy harmonies, a breathtaking piece in the truest sense of the word. And what about this version for organ? It sounds like it came out of Karn Evil 9. Ligeti: Hungarian rock
