The Shamen

The Shamen were a Scottish electronic group formed in Aberdeen in 1985. Starting in neo‑psychedelia/new wave, they became key figures in the UK rave era, scoring a UK No.1 with Ebeneezer Goode (1992). Landmark releases include En‑Tact (1990) and Boss Drum (1992). Member Will Sinnott died in 1991; the group later disbanded in 1999.
