Between

Between is a German experimental ensemble founded by keyboardist/composer Peter Michael Hamel. Active through the 1970s and into the 1980s, the group fused medieval and jazz inflections with avant‑garde and minimalist approaches, often touching on world and raga atmospheres. Members included oboist Robert Eliscu, who later worked with Popol Vuh.
