The Walkabouts

The Walkabouts were an American alternative country/folk-rock band from Seattle, led by Chris Eckman and Carla Torgerson. Active from 1984 to 2015, they released acclaimed albums on Sub Pop, Virgin, and Glitterhouse; signature moments include Devil’s Road and the song The Light Will Stay On, with their final studio album Travels in the Dustland (2011).
