Bob Berg

Bob Berg (1951–2002) was an American jazz tenor and soprano saxophonist. He gained wider recognition after joining Miles Davis’s band in 1984 and became known for a warm, incisive tone and fusion-leaning projects. He recorded acclaimed albums such as Short Stories and collaborated with Mike Stern, Dave Sanborn, Chick Corea, and Pino Daniele. He died in a car accident in 2002.
