Henry Flynt (born 1940, Greensboro, North Carolina) is an American philosopher and avant‑garde composer known for experimental violin/electric violin work that blends minimalism, drone, noise and country/blues elements. Associated with Fluxus and collaborators such as La Monte Young, Tony Conrad, John Cale and Catherine Christer Hennix.
