Sergio Caputo

Italian singer-songwriter from Rome known for blending jazz, swing, Latin and pop with witty, cultured lyrics. Debuted with Un sabato italiano (1983), followed by albums like Italiani Mambo, No smoking and Effetti personali. Appeared on TV show Mister Fantasy and collaborated with Dizzy Gillespie. Active from the 1980s to today, including years spent in California and a later project with Francesco Baccini.
