The Provenance

Swedish quintet whose early albums (25th Hour; Bleeding, Still at Arms Length) were released on Scarlet Records; after signing to Peaceville in 2006 they shifted toward a more melodic, progressive sound. Noted for blending death-metal roots with gothic and psychedelic elements and for Emma Hellström's prominent vocals.
