Love Battery

Love Battery are a Seattle rock band formed in 1989 by vocalist Ron Nine and guitarist Kevin Whitworth with bassist Tommy Simpson. Early on they worked with Mudhoney’s Dan Peters before Jason Finn (ex–Skin Yard) took over drums; Jim Tillman (ex–U-Men) handled bass before Bruce Fairweather (ex–Green River, Mother Love Bone) joined. Their catalog spans Sub Pop-era releases like Between the Eyes, Dayglo, and Far Gone, and later albums including Straight Freak Ticket and Confusion Au Go Go.
