Al Gromer Khan

German sitarist and ambient/electronic composer blending Indian classical aesthetics with atmospheric electronics. He studied with Ustad Imrat Khan, appeared with Amon Düül II on Tanz der Lemminge, and worked in the orbit of Popol Vuh. Active since the 1970s, he is acclaimed for long-form, nocturnal soundscapes such as Mahogany Nights.
