Omar Pedrini (former Timoria) is back in a mid-level style, the same one he adopted after parting ways with the legendary Timoria (Sole Spento is worth, in its beauty, their entire discography). Omar Pedrini is back in a mid-level style with the single "SCHOCK", a track that knows and doesn't know anything, halfway between a Zucchero song (known among friends as the Mad Plagiarist) and Negrita (a band that has sometimes tried to say something). The lyrics get a bit lost in the void until they completely disappear towards the end of the song, which is not bad but rather insipid and sometimes pointless (let's say 2 and a half stars, almost three).

The instrumental part is not bad, in fact, it’s even too well-crafted given the lyrics, but what can we do, these are "artistic choices".

HERE ARE TWO LINES FROM THE SONG:

"...she is bread and salami she who is hungry she..."
"...the Red Cross nurses who heal me bread, butter, and medicines..."

Sorry for the short review of just a single, but as soon as I heard it, I couldn't help but write since I feel a bit sorry for this Italian rockstar who attempts to get back on track so shakily... let's hope that Omar really comes back in shape (both stylistically and physically, as he wasn't doing very well), those who love him will know how to wait!

Sorry again for the short review...
