there's a little monkey clinging to the handle of a guitar...and there are several guitars...so the little monkey hops from one to another...it's a strange little monkey indeed, with an even stranger cat-like fur and a weasel-like face...and it doesn't make funny faces...and it has the bewildered look of an animal caught in a trap...and while the little monkey jumps, the perfect voice of Nick Drake unravels questions one after the other ("who will you love?" "who will you call?" "who will you take?" "who will you choose?" "who will make you shine?")...and each guitar loop digs deeper with every new question...and its gaze perhaps starts to resemble more and more that of the little monkey...is he perhaps talking to himself?...or maybe to a young lady, like the one with a squirrel on her head, friend of the vampire?...one who has good relations with a mole, by the way...it's nice to be in the dark, right, Mrs. Mole?...but also running around the branches, right, Mrs. Squirrel?...and it doesn't make any sense to climb on a guitar, right, Mrs. Little Monkey/Weasel?...oh no sense...really none...zero scribbles they say around here...there was a girl, a certain Simon/Simonetta, and she always used to say this curious expression...zero scribbles...she shot herself in the head, they say for love...and now she's missing a piece of her brain...but she's still alive...and if you've just finished smoking she says “good ex-cigarette”...and if eating “good ex-appetite”...the other day we were playing cards, scopa with the ace...at a certain point she tells me “congratulations!!!”...”congratulations what if I lost?” “very well, if you lost, de-congratulations, but congratulations for everything else!!!”...what does it have to do with Nick Drake?...I don't know, even though I think it has everything to do with Nick Drake...or maybe it's that thing about the de-congratulations/congratulations that I'd tell him if I were to meet him...meeting him is something that could always happen...it happened to Uncle Robyn and he tells about it in a song...but anyway, to get back to the point, is Nick talking to himself or to a young lady?...”the essential thing is that he talks” always says the vampire...with those words that come out nicely from the mouth...and speaking of young ladies, what to say about Miss Lucinda...that true woman with a cowboy hat who made a chilling cover of this song...could she also have a squirrel, maybe under the hat?...
