Do not be surprised to find yourself reading a review of Niccolò Fabi, good music has neither names nor surnames. After listening to this album, I felt as if I was standing on an island detached from the horrid landscape of Italian pop music; a small, intimate pearl on which to lie down, close your eyes, and dream while letting the most beautiful images flow through your mind.
Niccolò Fabi has always been consistent in his journey, even in the lowest moments, if there ever were any, but this time he surpasses himself with 11 songs that touch the soul with an imperceptible breath capable of moving even the hardest of hearts, as in "Mimosa," perhaps one of the most beautiful songs on the album, delicate and poetic like few others.
The philosophy that permeates the entire album is to focus on the quality of the product and its instrumental and lyrical care instead of trying to get as many tracks as possible on the radio. The album indeed slipped away quietly without making much noise, but perhaps that's just right. Andrea Pennino handles the arrangements along with Niccolò Fabi himself, crafting a product entirely written by the latter with a rare taste in its genre, thus bringing to light 11 exceptional pieces in their delicacy. Besides the already mentioned "Mimosa," among the best pieces, we find "E' non è," "Offeso" together with Mannoia, "Ora e qui," and the concluding "Risveglio".
In short, an album to listen to without prejudice that will leave an indelible mark on your soul without you even realizing it. This is music. It is often forgotten, but not in this album, and that is no small feat.

"If you were expecting a ROCK or HEAVY record, you might as well stop reading; this album is heartfelt and introspective."
