NON-REVIEW for a NON-FILM.

I cringe in disgust at these damnably sad, insipid buffoons of the worst kind who pat each other on the back in various National Television Microwaves, from Buona Domenica to Domenica In and in countless fake-Sunday-shows followed by hordes of living dead!
I feel genuinely sick, getting gonorrhea and boils at the mere thought of watching horrible Cine-Panettoni flicks like this 'Vacanze a New York' by Neri Parenti, starring Christian De Sica, Sabrina Ferilli, Massimo Ghini, Claudio Bisio, Fabio De Luigi, Elisabetta Canalis and assorted odds and ends of humanity.
All characters wound up like clockwork (or gunpowder-loaded, perhaps?), ever ready to curry favor with this or that host with appearances, winks, flirts, honeyed ex-showgirls adrift of all and nothing.

A pathetic spectacle of a small Italy gone astray where they keep rambling about the alleged "greatness of a DeSica Junior" half-wit, a pitiful imitation of the fourth-rate italian average (his poor father is still rolling in his grave!) or the "alleged artistic level" of that chubby-cipollino Boldi (thankfully NOT featured here!) who, along with that other one, besides raking in billions, bears the Grave Responsibility (with the Parenti, Vanzina, and their ilk) of dumbing down 3/4 of the Italian population by endlessly regurgitating tired and worn stereotypes of an imagination ALWAYS and ONLY aimed at the lowest, the crude, the dumb-booby-whore, the aspiring young man with the "Fevvavino", the myth of always easy money, in short: the cliché elevated to a High-Level Representation of a (supposedly) Winning Mentality but is instead the worst produced since the '80s to today.

Ladies and gentlemen? I will NEVER AGAIN watch any film of this kind, much less these monstrous crap that plague us every end of the year. I leave them to fawn over each other on Mediaset, Rai networks, gladly leaving them to someone who eagerly applauds them and misses none, while they praise each other, slobber over each other with endless reverence and affection, trying to look good by reproducing scripts that are nothing short of disgraceful for the obscene quality of their proposal.
I go to watch "other things"? other cinema, other music, perhaps other literature and it's neither snobbery nor left-wing Moretti-style intellectualism of mine? quite frankly, I don't give a damn about that either! I have no membership cards, no interests, don't get paid to say this and have no friends to please or applaud! In this battle that was lost from the start, I simply lay down my arms. From now on, I will watch the things I like as I have always done.
Period.

About the flights of fancy of that other sellout Claudio Bisio who clings on to anything with his nails just to justify the unfortunate choice he made ruining his face and bald head until 2010, I couldn't care less.
Screw all these Pseudo-Christmas Vacations and screw all the lackeys who are spokespeople for this way of understanding 'spectacle and entertainment.' Fake poets, floozy girls, unprincipled artists, buffoons, pathetic freaks, and unhappy people, lesser (and handicapped) offspring of a cinema already old even before seeing the light, more predictable than the end-of-year speech on unified networks by the current Napolitano.

I repeat: I take refuge in other things, other ways of passing the time, maybe writing things on a crappy little blog, things perhaps useless, pranks, jokes perhaps boring or old? but never remotely related to these unclassifiable crap one will see around for the next Christmas seasons up to the extinction of the entire Humanity (scheduled by 2030, apparently!). Aseptic containers now sterile and devoid of any meaning (if they ever had any).

Did anyone expect a serious review? Would anyone have ever read the 'review' of a film like this if not to laugh at it? would anyone perhaps take the dignity to make 'a real and unbiased review' on such a filmetto? But have you read the nonsense concocted by various newspapers subservient to the system and REGULARLY SLICKED by various PR Agencies to create interest around Christmas movies with an extreme marketing logic that tramples over everything and everyone just to achieve its goals?!?!

Well, if I have to find one positive thing, I see only one fact in all this, one but of enormous importance and not negligible: Christmas comes once a year. If God wills? ☺
