Movietone

Movietone are a British group born in Bristol; the project involved Rachel Brook (formerly of Flying Saucer Attack) and Kate Wright (later in Crescent). Their album Day and Night (released on Drag City in 1997) is described as slowcore/post-rock with folk and jazz-tinged structures, minimal lo-fi arrangements and whispered vocals.
