There is little to say because, my dear friends, this is a masterpiece!!!!!
One of the best albums of the last season, catchy, yet very experimental... Born from Nausea, ended in Nausea… Yet what emerges from the first listen is not a sense of heaviness, of déjà vu, but of excellent music, those albums you listen to and replay, which once they reach the end, seem too short and you listen to them once again. Ad infinitum, ad nauseam. Because you know you are listening to a work of quality, crafted with heart and guts.
You let yourself be lulled by the sounds, the journey into the soul, into the human animus unfolds between sweetness and terror, solitude, rancor, love, and the need for an extra chance. The dark, warm sounds are able to enchant and lull you as if in a trance Tantric as, as, as… … … . . How difficult it is to find words that can describe all the sick sensations this work evokes, melodious and icy, hell and heaven finally united. We let ourselves be carried down (or up) until we find the solution to the doubts and anxieties that the Monumentum have managed to give us.
“Lonely like a river I slowly descend towards the sea, why do I sit on the ground to breathe and remain still for hours hours hours??”
P.S. it also contains a cover of the legendary Fausto Rossi.
