Elephant in the room. As if to say... We have a big problem (a problem) but it seems that everyone pretends not to notice. The big problem is that for filthy money, children in Gaza are being killed, just to give an example. But Mondo BoBo, in an attempt to escape this mire, offers us an album that, yes, shakes us musically (the guitar riffs are always like slaps in the face), but what shakes us the most are the lyrics and the themes presented by the band and especially the singer. A clear demonstration of the importance of the lyrics is that most of the songs are not very noisy, where the voice, more than singing, offers an almost narrative style. And the choice is spot on because The Elephant in the Room is full of content, enlightening phrases, which for those who want to be enlightened are there, for our use and consumption, to make our lives something with at least a bit of meaning, going against the current so that maybe someone else, perhaps with the corner of an eye opening to the world, follows you.
