I'm here to make up for the lack of one of my favorite bands. In their debut album, the Crüe show all their cards: drug addicts, womanizers, alcoholics, and incapable of playing. The overall effect of this combination of qualities results in a sound that was perfect for the '80s, it's glam, it's heavy, it's metal.
The impact is extraordinary the tracks are ten and all are HM classics: Live Wire, Public Enemy #1, Merry-Go-Round, the title track, On With The Show, and Piece Of Your Action the best. The line-up includes Vince Neil (great voice and great seducer, you know what I mean), Tommy Lee (drums, already ex of Pamela Anderson), Nikki Sixx (bass and author of almost all the songs), and Mick Mars (lead guitars).
In the CD version among the bonus tracks there's also the excellent "Toast Of The Town", 4 other songs, and the video of Live Wire. They are inspired by Kiss, Led Zeppelin, and Aerosmith. The fun is guaranteed.
Too Fast For Love (1981) is the debut album for the Crue, who, for their capabilities, create a small masterpiece.
The only flaw of the record is the recording quality, which is very rough and approximate.
The first track is 'Live Wire,' which immediately kicks off with power and energy bursting from every pore.
Motley Crue make me think of women in bikinis, motorcycles, the sea, beautiful summer evenings, and the great rock and roll they have always exuded.
