The Profile

American new wave band formed in Los Angeles in the early 1980s. Key members included Dale Bozzio (vocals), Terry Bozzio (drums), Warren Cuccurullo (guitar), Patrick O'Hearn (bass) and Chuck Wild (keyboards). Debut album Spring Session M was released in 1982.

Several members had previously worked with Frank Zappa. Spring Session M (1982) produced singles such as "Destination Unknown", "Words", "Walking in L.A.", and "Windows". Dale Bozzio was noted for her distinctive voice and image; she was married to drummer Terry Bozzio during the band's early years. The band combined pop rock, electronics and new wave/dance-pop sensibilities.
