Mirror of Deception

Mirror of Deception are a German doom metal band from Esslingen known for a traditional, classic-leaning approach. Early singer Mark Baumhauer fronted the debut Mirrorsoil, with Michael Siffermann taking vocals from Foregone onward. Guitarist Jochen Fopp is noted for organizing the Doom Shall Rise festival. Their sound draws on Black Sabbath and Candlemass while weaving in epic and thrash-tinged passages.
