2017 Records: (1)
I have been in a quiet mode for a long time, but after appreciating, purchasing, and loving albums such as: Cloud Nothings, Pharmakon, Blanck Mass, Vagabon, Gomma, All The Teenage Feelings, Kelly Lee Owens, Mount Eerie (where maybe I will talk more about all of these, but slowly, slowly), I return with an album that sounds as old as the flower children.
Utterly dirty, acid, and Grateful Dead-esque folk psychedelia, brought to the golden times of Homestead Records straddling the 80s-90s. Milk Music hasn't released an album since 2013; 5 years spent in total silence that has certainly been good for their soul and our ears.
Lyrical rides in sticky seas, garage explosions and J Mascis.
Comparable: Wand, Gun Outfit, Dinosaur Jr.
