Michael Powell

Michael Powell was an English film director, best known for his partnership with Emeric Pressburger as The Archers. Together they created classics such as The Red Shoes, Black Narcissus, and A Matter of Life and Death. His solo film Peeping Tom (1960) was condemned on release but later championed by major filmmakers.
