The Underground Life are one of the most important Italian groups of the '80s.

The album "Filosofia dell'aria" from 1987, inspired by the novel of the same name by leader Giancarlo Onorato, rightfully becomes part of the milestones of the Italian new wave.

Sung in Italian, the album is close to the romantic decadence of "Ultravox!" and open to various influences: alongside electric guitars and synths, piano, strings, and winds create together driving rhythms, rarefied and enveloping atmospheres.

Produced by Alberto Radius, the Underground Life (Giancarlo Onorato, Lorenzo La Torre, Enzo Onorato) concluded this project without ever knowing true public success, in the early '90s.

"Uccidiamo il lavoro di massa captivates with its rhythm nestled between horns and shimmering guitars on which a 'committed' text rests. A true anthem."

"The result is highly emotional as fantasy blends with reality, especially in 'Belfagor,' where accordion and strings create a Mediterranean-tinged scene."
