THE REVIEW

Merdallica strike again!!!!!!

Their best album if it weren't for "Reload"! These Merdallica, starting with joining Metallica of METALLICA and debuting with their true first album "Load" (which means: WE Drugged Him), have lifted themselves with tracks like Fuel and Unforgiven II and have fallen back into crap with this St. anger. Furious, there's no denying, finally a powerful sound but a crappy production like the cover and producer. Yes, because this killer has assassinated thrash metal by killing Metallica and replacing them with these puppets...

They have billions, but they don't have a decent tuner because the guitars are tuned very low (practically even in C (C-F-Bb-E-G-C)). "Our" Lar$ broke his old drums, and to record this album, he used the pots his mom sent him from Denmark... Oh yes, because Danish pots make a shitty noise.

The only term to define the album is pure SHIT, SHIT, SHIT except for that Some Kind Of Monster which, however, does not save the situation: guys, if you bought the album, you made the biggest mistake of your life and you should throw it in the toilet; if you haven't bought it DON'T: IT'S HIGHLY TOXIC, HARMFUL, it's like your grandfather farting in your face ten times (in fact eleven) after eating beans.

In the next album, will we find Merdallica, or will Metallica propose their collaboration again? Because I don't believe in a complete return of Metallica: it's an English cold joke.

Summary by Bot

This review harshly criticizes Metallica's St. Anger album for its poor production and departure from the band's thrash metal roots. The reviewer sarcastically mocks the tuning, drum sound, and overall quality, deeming it highly disappointing and advising against purchasing it. Despite a mention of some powerful moments, the album is viewed mostly as a failure compared to previous works like Load and Reload.

Metallica

Metallica is an American heavy metal band formed in 1981 by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. They rose from the Bay Area thrash scene with early albums like Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning, achieved mainstream success with 1991's Metallica (The Black Album), and have released a long-running and often debated catalog since.

An album as aggressive as a dog whose bone is taken from its mouth!

James Hetfield has a fierce voice as if he wants to say to the whole world: 'I'm back, bastards!!! Sad but true!!!'

The first peculiarity that strikes the listener concerns the sound clarity: practically nonexistent, and this could be a point in its favor because it might (very remotely) recall the times of 'Kill'em All'.

In conclusion, I do not believe that St. Anger is a bad album, but a 'different' album.

Metallica with St. Anger managed to elevate the role of crap beyond levels that even Elio couldn’t imagine.

Listening to those drums, you can’t help but realize it’s pans and dishes!

"Metallica is not Nu Metal, but they wanted to enter the Olympus of the commercial, and they succeeded, considering the sales."

"This album is truly the worst in their entire discography, and its complete anonymity speaks volumes about how the future of this band will be."

The tracks are impressively repetitive, it’s almost as if Hetfield and company enjoyed pressing the LOOP button continuously.

The only good thing about 'St. Anger' is the cover, that’s it.
