I suspect it's the same for you all, but as for me, I'm honestly tired of writing words like "loop," "psychedelic," "Marijuana," "Sabbath," "Doom," "heavy," "bloated," "Vintage," and all those other things that inevitably get written and read when talking about these genres.
Don't get me wrong: it's the words that have worn me out, I still roll the music up with relish.
It's just that, and this will be the fifth time I'm writing it, the tenth time I'm thinking it, and you the hundredth time you're hearing it: "Well-made Doom is all the same."
You may not believe it, and I won't try to convince you: if you think differently, it's because you're light-years away from the genre, you don't care about getting into it, and I'm not here to convert anyone. But that's how it is, there's nothing to be done, well-made doom screams Sabbath from every pore, even in 2015, and that's it. If it does anything else, it's an extra that no one asks for and is often not even appreciated. If it doesn't scream "Sabbath" or it's not well done or, much more likely, it's not Doom.

Having ticked off the Sabbath topic, I could start talking about the famous bloated sounds, the riffs repeated ad nauseam, and how everything already feels heard and how with each note you feel the need that the next one must, necessarily and inevitably, be the one that effectively follows. But since I've just done that, we can also cut it short: Despite appearances, the tracks don't wave the Union Jack but the Argentine flag.
And with the addition of geographic coordinates, our work here is done. Because if you know what Doom is, you don't need a review, you need a listen.
If you don't know what Doom is but still consider yourself interested, no matter if the band in question is at their first full-length work, even if it's completely anonymous within the scene, even if the disc presented here has been recorded sloppily, by the end of the listen you'll have a perfectly clear and transparent idea of what Doom is, even if you're foolish enough to want to delve into the genre starting from here instead of Iommi (Tony...who isn't the guy flipping burgers outside the stadium... okay, if we're at this level maybe a visit to the Sabbaths would be advisable).
If you belong to the third category, the one of those who: "I don't know what doom is and I don't care," well, maybe you've just wasted 3 minutes of your life and while we're at it, if you open the link below, I'll waste another thirty-four minutes of it for you.

Thirty-four minutes of electric doom.
Well done
